BMW's New iX3 M60 Points to 603 hp for the i3 M60 Sedan

BMW has not said how much power the i3 M60 xDrive makes, but its latest reveal offers a strong clue. This week the company unveiled the iX3 M60 xDrive, an electric SUV rated at 450 kW, or 603 hp. The i3 and iX3 are both built on BMW's Neue Klasse electric platform and share the M60 performance badge, so the sedan's output is very likely to land in the same place.

The two cars differ mainly in body style. The iX3 is the crossover, while the i3 is the four-door sedan that BMW positions as the more traditional choice of the pair. Matching the SUV's rating would mean the sedan gets the same performance-focused M60 treatment without giving up power to its sibling.

For now, though, 603 hp is an expectation rather than an official figure for the sedan. BMW has not confirmed it, and the iX3 number is the only hard data point available. Enthusiasts should wait for the full spec sheet before treating it as settled, and should check whether the sedan's weight or tuning changes the final result.
